MEDICINAL PLANTS
OF SWEET BRIAR COLLEGE

Hello. We are Christy Pitts and Emma Kate Payne, freshmen at Sweet Briar College in Sweet Briar, VA. This semester we took Biology 118, Field Natural History, in which Dr. Linda Fink got our butts in gear and out in the field to experience the wonders of nature on the Sweet Briar Campus which encompasses 3200 acres. WOW!

We, yes, we lovely beauties have gotten out on our own and searched high and low for medicinal plants on this campus. This excursion was part of our required final project. We decided to focus on medicinal plants because we are both interested in medical careers. We have composed this web page so that you can learn the interesting information that we obtained. Enjoy your surfing.
