This map names the major areas of Sweet Briar's landholdings and shows the entire campus trail system. College boundaries are indicated in yellow, sanctuaries in blue, and trails in red. The background is a georeferenced composite of aerial photographs taken in March 1997. [created by Linda Fink, January 2000]

A timber map for the college's landholdings was created by McChesney Goodall III in Fall 2000 as part of a forest stewardship management plan for the college. Megan Ogilvie '02 digitized and classified the penultimate version of the map (excluding Bear Mountain). The "unclassified" areas are primarily loblolly pine stands.
